Objective

OADG is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to foster the sport of Dressage by encouraging participation in competitions, demonstrations, lectures and other activities which increases knowledge and understanding of good horsemanship.

History

The Ottawa Area Dressage Group was formed in 1968 by Mr. and Mrs. H. C. Linkletter, Miss Louise Barnes, Mr. Ted Leggett, and Mr. Tom Moore (Col. T.A.G. Moore), all residents of the immediate Ottawa Area. The purpose and ultimate goal of the OADG is to further the interest and enjoyment of Dressage and offer encouragement to those just starting out.
