Hi, I’ve been on the OADG Board since February 2009. I’ve been riding since I was a little girl, starting with summer camp, and then riding regularly at a high school teacher’s farm where I learnt how to stay on crazy saddlebreds. Yup, we jumped skinny little branches set on whatever we could find, and bareback to boot!!! At 17, I purchased my first horse, a patient quarter horse named Justin, who did everything I asked of him, including our first event. In those days, you started at training level!

Fast forward to the present where I continue to enjoy dressage, jumping cross-country, hacking, and hunting to hounds. I own two horses that I keep on our little hobby farm near Ashton. Lochloewyn, a Lusitano/Trakhener mare, is my dressage horse. True to her breeding, she is brave, hot, quirky, and I love her to bits. My ever-constant goal is not to do a levade during our halt/salutes! My other horse is Speckles, a laid back oddly spotted Percheron/Appaloosa cross, that I field hunt with the Ottawa Valley Hunt.

I look after the OADG year end awards – so be nice to me when you see me at the shows!!
