Caroline Anderson

Hi my name is Caroline Anderson. I am currently the OADG Banquet Director, a role I took on in fall of 2008 just in time for the biggest Banquet in the history of the OADG. And it didn't scare me away so, once again in 2009 I am continuing as Banquet Director.

I began riding at the age of 7 and developed a real passion for horses and riding. In 1988 I was introduced to Dressage by my mother Kay Anderson and instantly became addicted to the sport. Many will know my name from either many a show at Spiritwood or from my appearance in many a judge's booth since 2002. Through learning the art of Dressage I developed a keen eye for what was correct and thanks to friend and mentor Anne Galt I got my Judge's 'r' card in 2002. Up till 2008 I also coached and trained many a horse and rider, introducing them to the passion of dressage. But then I decided I wanted to finally make riding a hobby not a career and just recently made professional driving my career so I can afford my horses. Now I can truly enjoy Dressage for it's grace and beauty and am training my newest horse for the pure passion and enjoyment.
