I became involved with the OADG at the 2005 AGM, where I volunteered to work on the website. Since then I have volunteered at OADG clinics and the banquet and I have really enjoyed meeting all of the different horse people.

As a child, I always wanted to be near horses, but my parents were smart enough to suggest that I have my own money to pay for lessons. So, I would save up my babysitting money and head for a trail horse place that didn't seem to mind if I hung around and brushed all of the horses after I paid for my one hour trail ride. I started taking lessons in my teens and bought my first horse when I was in my twenties and I have been hooked ever since. I currently show Training Level at the Schooling shows and someday hope to move up to Trillium. This summer I attained my childhood dream of owning my own horse farm, StoneHill Stables in Renfrew and even in January I don't mind doing chores. You know you are horse person when........
