Sue Otto

Since I was 8 years old and could go to the store, I collected china horses – now I have also real horses to play with!! My favorite sayings are “ This ain’t no dress rehearsal baby!!” and “ Il faut cultiver ton jardin ,” a saying from Voltaire which I take to mean, you make your own place and your own contribution in this life. Also, “ Nothing worthwhile is ever easy “ So horses for me are an integral part of life,– and there are lots of beautiful places to see on riding holidays too! I go as often as possible to New Zealand, and hope to take part in “ The Great New Zealand Ride” which takes place in March every year. I compete at present with my horse Canadian Kiwi, at Third Level Trillium, and also take Parelli Natural Horsemanship Courses. My horse Moonshine Marco and I completed and passed our Level 1 exam, so are now on to Level 2. As there are nine levels, I will never be done learning, as well as so much more to learn in Dressage. I have been a member of OADG for a very long time!

May all of you and your horses have great rides, and great memories!! Susan Otto.
